If your name is not listed, and you feel it should be, please contact Bruenor King.

Note:

Note: Only a certain number of applicants/pledges will be allowed on the list. Twenty in all. If an application is taken, it will be on hold if there is already twenty on the list. As soon as that number wanes, my alt and I will see who will be allowed within that slot. We do not play first come first serve, we go by who has the best mentality. OOC attitude plays a good part as well. If all you do is pop into a room, remain there for a little time, then pop out, expecting to get a lot of attention this is not a Caste for you. Patience is a good part of the game. OOC whining about not getting attention is going to do nothing but get your character removed from the listing, and placed upon another. The list of the dead.

The training of the assassin is thorough and cruel. He who wears the black of that caste has not won it easily. Candidates for the caste are chosen with great care, and only one in ten, it is said, completes the course of instruction to the satisfaction of the caste masters. It is assumed that failed candidates are slain, if not in the training, for the secrets they may have learned. Withdrawal from the caste is not permitted.

Applicant - the lowest rank in the joining process, they have not completed any part of the entry process. This mainly means that their Role-play hasn't been viewed, nor their characters spoken to by a Registered Assassin. Males and females roll 2d20.

Pledge level 1 - the second lowest rank in the joining process, they have completed at least their primary interview and testing. Males roll 2d21, females roll 2d20.

Pledge level 2 - the middle stage of the joining process, they have completed primary and secondary interviews and testing. They must complete either an assignment or undergo some special testing before they continue. Males roll 2d21, females roll 2d20.

The males in red have the ability to raise dice to their opponents, and one under a Registered Assassin as they've shown what they needed to. The females in red have the ability to raise their dice to 2d21.

Pledge level 3 - it the second to the last stage in the joining process. They have completed all fundamental testing. Their next step is the entrance Death Match. Both roll 2d21.

Probate - it is the last stage in the joining process. They need but spend some time learning the finer details of membership and pass their Assassination testing before full entry is gained. There is no time limit on probation. Males roll 2d22, females roll 2d21.

The Brotherhood is no longer looking to increase the number of its members, but rather only to increase the quality of its members. We stay small and strong, accepting only those deemed the best within our ranks. This may seem we are picky about role-play, when, in truth, we are. We're not going to be accepting everyone that wants to join. If your Gorean knowledge isn't up to par, then most likely, you won't be accepted. Mind you, this does not mean that we are not accepting anymore members, simply ensuring that we have up to par players.

Warning: The process will be twice as hard, and twice as long for females. Failure means death. For females to prove themselves, the process must be completed with utmost perfection. People think it is bad enough that we have females in the Caste, though.. no where in the books did it say they weren't there. Only mentioned that females aren't allowed as sword using Warriors, and Initiates. We have the right to use OOC information, such as poor RP, or the such, to remove you. We're not looking for quantity, but quality.

As for the players; male, or female, doesn't matter.
